zimai’s derived CC-Canto records and indexes are available under CC BY-SA 3.0. Source spellings, reading strings, definition segments, inline comments and exact line hashes are preserved. Indexes, stable identities, citation-tone diagrams and written-character links are derived.

Coverage & reading quality

This is a community dictionary snapshot, not a claim of complete Cantonese coverage or independent scholarly verification. 138 records have readings outside the supported notation; they remain readable and searchable by Chinese and English. Supported slash-separated pronunciation alternatives are indexed individually. Pinyin references are kept in a collapsed comparison section, never substituted for Cantonese.

Search Chinese in either source script, numbered Jyutping such as nei5hou2 or nei5 hou2, toneless Jyutping such as neihou, and English keywords. All six tone digits remain significant. Exact matches rank first. Broad prefix results are bounded; type a longer query to narrow them. Related Chinese matches share the query’s written characters and are not automatically synonyms.

The word dictionary loads only for Cantonese–English. Cantonese–German has no installed lexical pack. Existing Unihan character readings remain separately attributed references.
